These broad categories include the Novaliches Clay Loam, Novaliches Loam and the Sibul Clay. The Novaliches Clay Loam is extensively distributed covering almost 75 percent of the City. About 20 percent are composed of the Novaliches Loam, which may be found along the relatively flat areas in its western section. The Sibul Clay category is found in the area coinciding with the limestone deposits in Barangay Minuyan Proper.
